Ultra-trail Cape Town was the brainchild of Nic Bornman who started Summit Events in 2014. He partnered with Stuart McConnachie to host the inaugural UTCT in October of that year.

 

We are a dedicated team of sports event specialists who are passionate about providing unforgettable experiences for our participants. From seasoned trail runners to beginners, our events cater for all levels of fitness and skill. 

 

We are also deeply committed to the environment in which we operate which is why we work closely with our event beneficiaries that include SANParks, Honorary Rangers, Cape Nature, and Friends of Table Mountain. We help to raise funds for local projects to benefit the areas where our events occur. By supporting these projects we aim to impact the environment and its wild inhabitants positively.
