The six route recces are free and open to all runners (RMB Ultra-trail Cape Town® participants and non-participants); space is limited and entry is on first-come, first-serve. You’ll need to be self-sufficient and capable of moving with the pack - these recces are not assisted training runs. We will have two groups led by competent runners. Please bring sufficient compulsory gear and food for your time on the trail. Runners must sign up using the links below from 12 midday each Monday before the recce.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
BOOTLEGGER LEG IT SEGMENT SERIES
At the beginning of each month, a new Strava segment will launch. Each segment is a route starting from a different Bootlegger in Cape Town for August, September & October. Run the segment and earn a free coffee courtesy of Bootlegger Coffee Company!
The top three on the Strava segment leaderboard, the local legend and the person behind the best content from each month will also walk away prizes from Bootlegger Coffee Company, adidas Terrex, Ledlenser, Jack Black, RMB and Suunto!
Your checklist to redeem your well-earned coffee:

Run the month’s Leg It Strava Segment;

Upload the activity to Strava;

Show the entry to the Bootlegger cashier or waiter at the month’s Bootlegger location. They will give you a promo code;

Download the Bootlegger App;

Click Menu | Promo Codes and enter the code to unlock your free coffee;

Select Pay | Earn | Redeem on the Home screen;

Pay with "loyalty" and the promo code will apply automatically;

Enjoy free coffee!

The free coffee is only available at the month’s dedicated Bootlegger Coffee Co’s location. You cannot redeem a free coffee at another Bootlegger venue.
