UTCT PACERS - RULES
The UTCT pacing section is a stretch of 105.7km of the 100 mile course. The section starts at Llandudno (41.2km) and ends at Alphen Trail (147km).
Please read the below for important information and rules for each UTCT participant and their pacers:

One pacer per runner at any one time.

Max three pacers in total per runner.

No muling.

Pacers can run as far as they want within the pacing section.

All pacers to be entered and purchase a pacer entry; be registered with the race and have a bib.

Pacers are to carry a few mandatory gear items.

Pacers can only drop in and stop at official designated Aid Stations: Llandudno (Pacing section start), Hout Bay, Kalk Bay, Simonstown, Scarborough, Kommetjie and Noordhoek.

Pacers must register and be connected to runners by their bib numbers.

Runners collect their pacer's bib.

Pacers have access to Aid Station food, medical assistance.

Pacers will not be provided with race transport and must be able to make their way to and from the Pacer Pick-Up Points.

Pacers must be a minimum of 20 years old.

Pacers must enter and leave each Aid Station with their runner and must clearly identify themselves to Aid Stations.
